the weather's getting hotter again. it'll be 90+ on thursday, the day before i start at fedex.
i woke up earlier at 7:30 and decided to send the email to fred about the room in san gabriel.
it was a little weird being parked in the CA parking with CA staff coming in and out and i left.
but this time my mechanic was open and i decided i needed to get the check engine taken care of. i need to take in back tomorrow morning to confirm, but it looks like it's fixed. plus i was a quart low and my rear brake pads needed to be replaced. cost me almost exactly what i got for the EVL.
NOW i understand why it sold when it did. and it gives me comfort to get a reminder that i'll get what i need to keep going, despite getting turned down by fred today because of what i do with the homeless.
do i mention that? i guess it'll depend on why; do i want their sympathy, or do i want their prayer support?
no regrets.
