call time 3:15, done 8:45. they closed the men's resttroom right as we were being released. great timing. i used one of the restroom in the orientation area by the security gate. had someone knock while i was washing up, bu thtere are two bathroom so i didn't feel too guilty. drove to metro to charge batteries. my new battery was down to 6% and will take about an hour and 45 minutes to recharge. afer sitting in the sun for about 5 minutes, i unplugged the power cord, tucked everything back into my bag, went back to my car and got my beach umbrella. i've got the handle jammed into the bag which is holding it up. it's almost like wearing a hat, but it's doing the job.
called vaughan and asked him to check instagram forr carnita el momo. they're open. sophia's going to go as well - meeting at 12:30.
there's some old lady who's already had one guy tell her to go away. she's throwing the n word and f bombs. she approached me and i told her that i wouldn't talk to her if she used profanity. she persisted and suggested we copulate. i finally yelled at her to go away.
someone else approached me asking if they could use the other outlet. i offered to let them plug into my power strip and told him i'd be here until about noon. he did and then lay down nearby to take a nap. the old lady has finished ranting and has moved off.
i suspect they've not seen anyone with an umbrella for shade before. but then everyone else is on foot while i have a car and a job.
took a step back towards normalcy meeting with sophia and getting tacos at carnitas el momo, followed by a 3 scoop cone at fosselman's. napped from 2-5, then headed over to get wifi at CA uploading today and yesterday.
applied for a couple more rooms for rent. one sounds promsing. not available until june, but they're open to my feeding the homeless, rent $800 includes utilities. yay. is lynne male or female?
