05-03

i drove over 30 miles yesterday, including 5 miles round trip to CA for wifi, but otherwise did not leave pasadena. but with nowhere to go, you have to keep moving.

first off, finding shade is a priority. then the sun moves and so does the shade. and there are ony so many places you can park and fit in. mainly the parks.

the best location i'm comfortable with is the park in east pasadena where there's a bank of trees. there's also an open bathroom. most of the other parks don't have shaded parking. i suppose i could victory park, but that's about the same distance as the other park.

but at least i have a reason today; i have a buyer for the EVL violin stored at karl's and they'll be by around 3-4. with an extra $300 i can splurge, maybe even rent a room monday night?

NOW i understand why people are willing to blow their GR on rooms for a couple of nights each month.

if the libraries open, i can cope, but with NOWHERE to go, it is really really hard. especially being an extrovert.
-------------------

sold my EVL electric violin for $260. i was asking $300 but since i paid only $170 before i fixed it up i can't complain.

i was going to show it at the the place i had it stored, but my friend preferred that i not bring strangers to his house. i respect that. met her at my old place and plugged into the patio outlet and charged the laptop at the same time.

now over at the pool. it's gotten warmer and a few families are also using the pool. i know the pool code, so i must be legit, right?

i rewarded myself with sushi. i still have more left on my EBT card than i officially started with and i get another $194 in a couple of days.

i applied for a couple more rental opportunities on CL, but just how they were worded made me suspect a scam, but i'll apply as long as they don't ask for my real emal address or my #.

if the outlet at the pool worked this would be perfect.
