Another uneventful night sleeping in the fedex lot.

apparently there's a 5.5 hour limit on new hires, so they let us go at 8:30 even though there was work to be done. my first day i only a single truck to load so i didn't have to be concerned which truck i was loading when i did a scan. they gave me two trucks, and i wasn't told that i had to indicate which truck the scan was for. i ended up resetting the scanner for each package, so each parcel had to be maneuvered so that another scan could be done. now i know.

my stimulus check arrived in the mail, along with another residual check for dancing on big bang theory. i made $1000 for the two day shoot, and about $900 a year in residuals since. yay.

i take that back about not breaking $1375 since i forgot about the stimulus check. but if i'm working 5-6 hours a night (and another $2 bump for working this weekend - mother's day) even 75 hours at $17.25 will probably get me there.

i got carried away using the laptop and recharged this afternoon. changed the M.O. by parking on the other side of the building and reaching the patio by going around. charged for an hour and left. expect to recharge again tonight before heading off to fedex. with mother's day, they calling us in an hour early expecting a heavy load.
