decided to try parking at Fedex and sleeping there. first spot close to building was too noisy, moved to far end and then moved car after waking up. i think i'll do that going forward.
got off around seven am, decided to sleep, woke up arounf 9am when it started to get hot. need to remember to put up towel for shade, move car back to far end of lot. this can work.
towel off and recharge in pasadena, head down to fedex, set alarm and be ready to go.
as long as i can tap this patio outlet i can live with this.
i could have moved in with this guy fred except for his apprehension that i might be a health risk. so i signed up for a free covid-19 testing which was this afternoon at 2pm at lincoln park.
got there exactly at 2pm and there was a line of cars that had to be at least a half mile long. and it was 95 degrees. no shade. i probably burned of half a gallon of gas just idling.
114 minutes later, i was done and rewarded myself with a large coke and two mcdoubles from mcdonald's.
powerade on sale for only $.49 if you buy eight, which i did, which will probably last me a week at work. i still have over $400 on my EBT. a week into may. i'll probably have to give up the EBT since i'm likely to break $1375 this month, especially if i cash my stimulus check. boo.
the day went by quicker with tasks to accomplish, even if all it did was wait in my car for two hours.
but that's what makes this so much harder under quarantine, nowhere to go, no one with whom to interact, etc.
