i parked at fedex again.  my ex-roomie chris texted me around 9:15, so i called him and we chatted for a bit. that was nice.

the original start time of 1:15 was moved back to 2am and we went until 8am. the manager asked if i was coming back for the next shift. turnover must be pretty bad.

i was tired, but i wasn't hurting as bad as i was thought i might be. we had a mandatory lunch and they treated us to breakfast sandwiches and gatorade as part of some celebration. i might have been better off as that sandwich went through me and i had a near accident looking for a restroom.

i napped in the car for an hour and a half or so, and around 10am i decided to take surface streets back to pasadena and go to hmart (korean grocery store) thinking i might get some korean takeout there but i decided against it and went to mitsuwa. they had a line waiting and i wasn't in the mood.

parked across the street from my mechanic's and tapped his internet until 1-ish when that breakfast sandwich decided it wanted out. i was going to go to von's but THEY had a line so i headed to the park. it was a struggle trying to walk normally to the restroom but i made it. napped some more at the park, went back to the mechanic's and downloaded episode one of "billions", then headed down to ranch 99 in alhambra after 4pm which is when they start selling their premade stuff at a discount.

there was a short line there so i waited, picked up some sushi and a double order of cold chicken noodle. called derek and asked if he wanted one but he'd already started making dinner. i told him i call earlier next time.

went to a different park in pasadena, ate, and then washed up in the restroom there.

went back to the bridge near my old place and smoked a cigar waiting for until after sunset. greeted a few people from the complex, told them i was smoking on the bridge tonight instead of on the patio. sang a few worship songs on the bridge.

after sunset, went back to the patio to charge the laptop. i found out that a new 9 cell battery will go 10 hours, thinking of getting one online - then i can wait until 10pm or so and minimize the chances of being seen here.

will probably ask les if i can stop by after work saturday to take a shower. that should hold me until i go to derek's on tuesday to make dinner.
